SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. — Beef producers from across the Northeast, spanning Maine to Virginia, are invited to take part in the 2026 Northeast Beef Producer Workshop, a two-day educational and networking event designed to strengthen the region’s beef community and support producer success in an increasingly competitive marketplace.

Hosted by the Northeast Beef Promotion Initiative (NEBPI), a subcontractor to the Beef Checkoff, the workshop will be held April 24-25, 2026, at the Hilton Garden Inn Saratoga Springs. The event brings together producers, industry experts, educators, and supply-chain professionals for a robust line-up of sessions, hands-on learning, and collaborative discussion.

A Workshop Built for the Northeast Beef Community

Producers in the Northeast face a unique set of opportunities and challenges, from limited processing capacity and land availability to evolving consumer preferences and an increasingly competitive protein environment. This workshop is designed to address those realities head-on with practical tools and take-home strategies.

The preliminary agenda, available here, features sessions focused on:

  • Beef Quality Assurance Training
  • Market trends and consumer demand in the Northeast
  • Strategies for enhancing beef quality and consistency
  • Supply chain and processing insights for regional producers
  • Nutrition, sustainability, and animal care conversations that resonate with today’s shoppers
  • Collaborative discussions with fellow producers and allied industry partners
  • Hands-on demonstrations and practical knowledge-sharing
