COLUMBIA, S.C. — Calling all rising high school juniors and seniors! Trade in your textbooks and pencils for hands-on learning in the outdoors this summer at SC Farm Bureau’s Youth Leadership Conference at Camp Long in Aiken, June 23-27. Over the course of five days, attendees will enhance their leadership skills, strengthen their advocacy experience, and learn about the diversity of South Carolina agriculture, all while having fun and making new friends. Sessions led by agriculture leaders from across the state will provide the ultimate opportunity to learn about South Carolina’s number one industry.
Attendees will also spend an entire day visiting a variety of farms in the area and have the opportunity to have conversations with farmers about commodities, production methods, and so much more. Camp Long isn’t short of outdoor activities either. From their waterfront with kayaks, paddle boards and a blob to their new 35 ft. climbing tower with a rappel tower and giant swing, participants will always have something fun to do.
See you this summer at Youth Leadership- ready, set, engage!
