WARSAW, N.Y. — Cornell Cooperative Extension Wyoming County Beekeepers are hosing the workshop “Honeybee Colony—Removal and Re-Hive at Historic Barn” on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at the Artisan Villa, 140 North Main Street, Warsaw, NY 14569 at 10:00AM.
• Observe as a honeybee colony is removed and re-hived in a Langstroth
• Comb will be cut and placed in frames – both brood and honey
• Queen will be located and placed in hive
• See how honeybees adapt to their environment and how the comb is shaped
*BEESUIT AND VEIL REQUIRED*
$5 per person, or $3 for enrollees – refreshments provided
