BUFFALO, Minn. — University of Minnesota Extension is pleased to announce they will be having a Dairy Field Day in Wright County this summer. Extension Dairy Field Days are a way for area producers and agribusinesses to gain insight and learn from extension educators and the farmer hosting the event. This year’s Wright County Dairy Field Day will take place on Monday, August 5th from 10:30am-12:30pm at Krause Holsteins, Inc. Krause Holsteins is owned and operated by three generations of the Krause family, and is located at 451 Cty Rd 8, Buffalo, MN 55313.
This field day will be at the Krause’s farm, where attendees will have the chance to have conversations with Extension personnel and our host farmers, Charles and Andrew Krause. A robotic calf feeding system and a free stall barn, bedded with recycled manure solids highlight the tour.
This event includes lunch and is offered free of charge thanks to the generous sponsorship of Munson Lakes Nutrition. Questions can be directed to Adam Austing at (763) 682-7394 or aausting@umn.edu.
