WASHINGTON CO., N.Y. — Cornell Cooperative Extension (CCE) of Washington County is hosting the second of a series of marketing workshops on June 18 to help the region’s farmers and food producers have a stronger presence in the marketplace and sell more product. This second workshop will have attendees rolling up their sleeves and following a step by step guide setting up or improving their business accounts on Facebook and Instagram.
This workshop will be led by Rebecca Breese, who is currently serving as Washington County CCE’s Local Agriculture Promotion Coordinator. The session will take place from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Washington County Fairgrounds’ main office. Attendees are asked to bring their computers for this hands-on workshop.
“The number of available resources to help small businesses create or improve their business social media accounts can be overwhelming for businesses owners,” said Breese. “In this workshop, we will be breaking down the available resources and set businesses owners up with a plan that will work for their schedule and their business goals.”
Pre-registration is not required but encouraged. In addition to this workshop, CCE is also hosting five others scheduled throughout the summer and early fall on a variety of marketing topics. For more information on any of these marketing workshops, please contact CCE of Washington County at 518-746-2560.
