ONLINE — Claudia Kenny NYSAMP Co-Director will join with Penn State Extension – Christi Powell and Lynn Klime to present this workshop focused on building and sustaining relationships during a farm transition process.
They are collaborating with American Farmland Trust as part of a cohort of 48 Ag Service Providers (Trainers), from across the country, who are helping to shape and field test new resources that support farm and ranch transfer in their communities.
This event is part of an American Farmland Trust curriculum.

Jackie Schweichler from Pennsylvania Ag. Mediation Program will be joining them for the workshop bringing her unique expertise.
The workshop focuses on skills to support effective communication during farm and ranch transfer offering creative approaches to build foundational communication skills between beginning producers, their families and other agricultural landowners. This webinar is appropriate for farmers and their family members as well as those hoping to farm.

- negotiation skills
- turning reactions into thoughtful responses
