DYERSVILLE, Iowa — On November 8, 2019, the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship and Iowa State University are hosting a FREE one day workshop for dairy producers, processors, extension, veterinarians, and emergency responders. The workshop will focus on how to prepare for a foot-and-mouth disease outbreak and steps that can be taken today to protect dairies from foreign animal diseases and also diseases already found in the U.S.
The workshop is being held at Country Junction in Dyersville, IA (913 15th Ave SE, Dyersville, IA 52040) and a FREE lunch will be provided. Check-in starts at 8:15 AM, with the workshop ending at 3:00 PM. Walk-ins are welcomed but pre-registration by November 5, 2019, is strongly encouraged.
