CLEMSON, S.C.–The Woodland Management program is a series of workshops designed to educate participants on forest management. The Pine Management program focuses on tree ID, soils, pine restoration, herbicides, harvesting and markets.
Topics include:
Tree ID for Pines, Soils, Pine Reforestation, Loblolly Pine Harvesting Methods, Herbicides for Pine Management, Field Activity: Basal Area and Tree Scale Stick, Longleaf Management Differences, and Pine Markets.
