CARLISLE, Pa. – Women involved with agriculture are encouraged to attend the Women Rooted in Agriculture discussion group event on Oct. 24 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Cumberland County Extension Office, 310 Allen Road, Carlisle.
These discussion groups are designed to provide support and education to women who work in the agriculture industry. Topics for this workshop include fast meals for the farm family, which will be led by Nancy Routch RD, LDN. There will be demonstrations for timely, cost-effective, and simple meals for the busy farm family that incorporate dairy into diets.
