Please see Flower Bud Induction 2021 – University of Florida, Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (ufl.edu) for the (cold) seasons first Flower Bud Advisory put out by the UF/IFAS CREC in Lake Alfred. I will send out these advisories every other week until March, as well as other other cold weather advisories throughout the season as the cold fronts come in. Stay tuned.
Also, keep in mind the many tools and resources available from FAWN – Florida Automated Weather Network (ufl.edu) as the cold weather sets in. A full cold protection toolkit, real-time weather data, critical temperature alerts and much more are available at no charge to growers.
