Winter Horse Educational Series

Meeting will be conducted at Franklin County Extension Center Annex, February 17

A free horse educational series will begin with our first in-person meeting on Thursday, Feb. 17, at 6 p.m. The meeting will be conducted in the Franklin County Extension Center Annex meeting room in Louisburg, beginning at 6 pm. Dinner will be served first followed by the program. (Todd Johnson, OSU Agricultural Communications Services)

LOUISBURG, N.C. — A free horse educational series will begin with our first in-person meeting on Thursday, Feb. 17, at 6 p.m. The meeting will be conducted in the Franklin County Extension Center Annex meeting room in Louisburg, beginning at 6 pm. Dinner will be served first followed by the program.

There is no fee for the meals, but a donation will be accepted. Martha Mobley, Agricultural Extension Agent, will be presenting on “Getting Back to the Basics in Horse Pasture Establishment and Management.”

Due to Covid restrictions, the meeting number is limited to the first 25 who pre-register on Eventbrite using the following link: https://go.ncsu.edu/2022_horse_meeting_series_1.
