LEXINGTON, S.C.  —Wingard’s Market, the Midlands premier full-service garden and plant center, is featured on the July cover of Green Profit Magazine. Green Profit is a national industry magazine that brings timely, accurate flower and plant information to retailers.

Wingard’s greenhouse is pictured a few times, including the cover story, which is how more retailers are going for taller greenhouses and broader aisles to offer consumers a delightful shopping experience. The company that made Wingard’s Greenhouse in 2019, Stuppy Inc., has a profile in the magazine.

“It was a bit of shock when we got the call that we are on the cover,” said Wingard’s Co-Owner Wally Steinhauser. “We could not be happier about our greenhouse, and Neil Devaney a Stuppy Inc. executive was excellent and easy to work with. The article is about growing trends in the industry, including these larger greenhouses. To be recognized as a trendsetter in a national magazine that industry leaders read is incredible.”

Wingard’s greenhouse is a CS3 Aeromax, which has motorized vents and offers wide bays with tall sidewalls to maximize maximum environmental control. The versatility of this greenhouse is one of the reasons Wingard’s invested in this model, so customers can enjoy a to make a better shopping experience. Wingard’s currently has unique and beautiful towering palms in the greenhouse that could be a nice fit for an indoor living or business space.

This is the second time that Wingard’s has made the cover of Green Profit. Andrea Snelgrove was named Young Retailer of the Year in 2017.
