HAMBURG, N.Y. — The Erie County Agricultural Society is proud to present the 17th Annual Western New York Hog & Lamb Preview Classic. The show is scheduled to take place inside the Agriculture Discovery Center at the Erie County Fairgrounds in Hamburg, New York June 2nd, 3rd and 4th.
This is a National Junior Swine Association (NJSA) recommended show that is open to exhibitors of all ages. The show’s goal is to provide a competition experience prior to showing at local county and/or state fairs this summer. The schedule for the show includes:
Friday, June 2nd, 6pm – Hog Showmanship Classes
Saturday, June 3rd, 10am – Hog Show #1
Saturday, June 3rd, 5:30pm – Market Lamb Show
Sunday, June 4th, 10am – Hog Show #2
Judging the lambs will be Mr. Josh Cody of Bertram, Texas; Hog Show #1 judge is Mr. Brant Smith of Monroe Center, Illinois; and Hog Show #2 judge is Mr. Will Winter of Lubbock, Texas.
The early entry deadline is May 12, 2017. Late entries will be accepted up until 9:30pm on Saturday, June 3rd. The show will have a skill-a-thon on Saturday June 3rd which will be followed by an exhibitor potluck dinner.
