JUNEAU, Wis. — Professional Dairy Producers® – PDPW has released the speaker and content lineup for week seven of The Dairy Signal™. New to The Dairy Signal team, includes Mary Ledman, Global Sector Strategist for Dairy in the RaboResearch Food & Agribusiness Group, and Sandy Chalmers, State Executive Director for the USDA Wisconsin Farm Service Agency, along with colleague Tom Brandt, Farm Loan Chief.
Developed by fellow dairy farmers from the PDPW Board of Directors, The Dairy Signal is a weekly series of free educational episodes offering timely insights and resources for fellow producers and other food system professionals throughout the value chain.
Each episode, speakers of The Dairy Signal break down the day’s dairy business and market dynamics and offer tools to get farmers through the day and weeks ahead until the world stabilizes. The episodes air live from 12:00-1:00 PM CT each Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday; recorded sessions are available later in the day.
During The Dairy Signal this past Tuesday, Governor Tony Evers acknowledged, “Dairy is absolutely critical to Wisconsin’s landscape. Plain and simple, dairy is super essential – you’re part of the reason there is and will be a safe food supply available in Wisconsin.”
