MOUNTAIN GROVE, Mo. — A “Spring Weed Workshop,” designed for pasture and hay growers, will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 10 at the MSU Fruit Experiment Station, 9740 Red Spring Road, Mountain Grove, MO.

“Weed and brush control is an important aspect of forage and pasture management,” said Sarah Kenyon, agronomy specialist, University of Missouri Extension.
Producers who attend this workshop will receive tips on proper timing and methods of controlling common weed and brush species during the upcoming growing season.
Kenyon will lead the discussion on weed identification and control. Workshop sponsors are the Missouri State University Darr College of Agriculture and Wright County University of Missouri Extension.
