ST. PAUL, Minn. — The University of Minnesota Extension along with Minnesota Departments of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Transportation are offering two free workshops on invasive plant identification this spring. Species to be covered include: Palmer amaranth, Oriental bittersweet, Japanese hops, giant hogweed, yellow starthistle, knapweeds, common and cutleaf teasels, Dalmatian toadflax, Grecian foxglove, wild carrot, non-native common reed and black swallow-wort.
