UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Dairy producers and food entrepreneurs are invited to join Penn State Extension for the “What You Need to Know About Starting a Value-Added Dairy Business” webinar, from noon to 1 p.m. Nov. 20.
“Our goal in offering this webinar is to assist dairy producers who are thinking of starting a value-added dairy business by providing a framework for exploring considerations surrounding this type of undertaking,” said Ginger Fenton, Penn State Extension Dairy Team educator.
This webinar will introduce the basics of value-added dairy enterprises, including products, production systems, equipment needs, food safety and regulatory considerations, market assessment, and product marketing.
