STOCKTON, Mo. — MU Extension is providing a Warm Season Grass Cattle Grazing Workshop on January 28th beginning at 6:00 p. m. at the Vernon County Fairgrounds Diner in Nevada, Mo. and on February 1st beginning at 1:00 p. m. at the Immanuel Lutheran Church and School in Lockwood, Mo. This workshop is part of the NRCS + MU Grasslands Project.
Pat Miller and Patrick Davis, MU Extension Regional Agronomy and Livestock Field Specialists, respectively, will provide the education in Nevada.
Jill Scheidt and Patrick Davis, MU Extension Regional Agronomy and Livestock Field Specialists, respectively, will provide the education in Lockwood.
The discussion topics include:
- Warm Season Grass Development and Management
- Cattle Nutrition and Grazing Management on Warm Season Grasses
