LACEY, Wash. — Almost two months away from one of the biggest events for the Washington FFA. State staff and state officers hope you are excited for the 91st Washington FFA Convention, May 13-15, 2021. As plans continue to deliver an engaging, exciting, and student-centered virtual convention, some opportunities will be available for your members and programs.
Convention Registration
Convention Registration for this year will be $20 per person. The WA FFA Foundation has provided sponsorship to take $10 off of each registration up to a total of $30000 (which means 3000 attendees). Registration will be due April 16, 2021. State staff is working to make the registration process seamless and connect with our membership roster as has been done in the past. This registration will provide an access code to each registered convention attendee that will grant access to the virtual convention platform during Convention week (May 10-15, 2021). More details and specifics will be communicated later.
Delegate Issues and Chapter Delegates
Check out the Awards and Applications page to find information about registering your Chapter Delegate for convention and for submitting a Convention Delegate Issue. [Submission for these items ended April 1, 2021]
Hall of Chapters
Register here if you plan to participate in the virtual Hall of Chapters during Convention. [Registration for this event ended April 1, 2021]
Leadership Workshops
District officers, chapter officers, and/or members, would you like to host a leadership workshop during convention. Stay tuned for information on how to host a virtual leadership workshop during convention.
National Anthem Auditions
Do you have a member and/or members who are talented musically? We are looking for auditions (vocal, groups, instrumental) to perform the National Anthem during our four general sessions, virtually. Submit your audition here.
Opening Ceremony (Spanish)
Your 2020-2021 WA FFA State Officers are looking to recruit FFA members who are Spanish-speaking that would like to participate in the Official FFA Opening Ceremonies during Convention. We are also looking for an advisor/adult who is Spanish-speaking to deliver the advisor part. Email Jason if you have a member or adult interested.
