The Virtual Swine workshop will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2020 from 5:00pm-6:00pm. COVID-19 has made many families think about food security and homesteading. Whether you’re interested in raising pigs for your family or to market for profit, this workshop will be offered as an online class through Zoom, structured for beginners to learn the basics in raising pigs from start to finish. The class will include information on the best management practices, hog care, production models, processing and marketing of pigs.
