COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. — Montgomery County 4-H will be partnering again with two local veterinary clinics to offer our popular Veterinary Science Short Courses for teens ages 13-18 (by Jan. 1, 2019) interested in animals and possibly a career in veterinary medicine and a great glimpse into the industry.
During the four weeks, participants will learn about the path to becoming a veterinarian or a veterinary technician. Topics for the course include determining animal health (office visits), animal handling and safety and hands on practice including suturing or observation of a surgical procedure.
