CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. — A Vertical Gardening Workshop will be held on May 21, 2019 from 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm at the Cornell Cooperative Extension office, 480 North Main Street, Canandaigua, NY 14424.
Love home grown vegetables but have limited garden space? This presentation will introduce you to the space saving method of vertical gardening. Learn how training plants to grow vertically using poles, trellises, walls and other structures can help you maximize your growing space.
Sandy Eckhert, Ontario County Master Gardener will discuss which vegetables/varieties lend themselves to growing vertically. Also, different structures and techniques which have been used successfully in our region will be discussed.
