HARDWICK, Vt. — The Vermont Wood Works Council’s next meet-up will be June 17th from 1:00 P.M.-4:30 P.M. The meet-up will be hosted by Vermont Natural Coatings in Hardwick and attendees will get to visit a series of local Hardwick businesses.
Andrew Meyer, founder of Vermont Natural Coatings, local entrepreneur, and community leader, will begin the meet-up with an introduction followed by a tour of the plant and training center. The tour will include demos of the VNC’s product and meet-and-greet with the VNC team.
The tour will then move to Vermont Soy’s artisan tofu facility. After that, attendees will head over to the Center for an Agricultural Economy’s Food Venture Center, a local hub and workspace of regional food and agricultural businesses. The tour will finish at the Hardwick Farmers Market for locally sourced refreshments and conversation.
