COLCHESTER, Vt. — Vermont NRCS is hosting a Technical Service Provider (TSP) informational session that will occur on October 31, 2022 from 9am –12pm. TSPs are private consultants that write NRCS technical plans for farmers and forest land owners, e.g., nutrient management, soil health management, irrigation water management or forest management plans. This session is for those who are interested or thinking about becoming a TSP for NRCS and to learn what will be new for Fiscal Year 2023.
Vermont NRCS is particularly interested in encouraging Certified Crop Advisors to add “Soil Health” activities to their TSP profile and encouraging Licensed Foresters to add “Agroforestry” activities to their TSP profiles. More information on becoming a TSP can be found at: https://www.nrcs.usda.gov/
In-person seating in Colchester is limited to 25 people to accommodate social distancing and any COVID-19 related safety precautions at the time of the meeting. Attendance will be honored on a first-come, first-serve basis through RSVP to Lorrie.Doering@usda.gov. Those who wish to join virtually or audio please use the following:
