WATERLOO, N.Y. — Have you ever thought about selling your locally made or produced items at your local farmers market? Do you grow fruits or vegetables? Or maybe you produce honey or maple syrup, have nursery stock or cut flowers? Maybe you have great baked goods or make your own soap or other arts or craft items. Are you looking for a unique place to sell your items? Why not try the Waterloo Farmers Market?
We will be holding an informational meeting on Thursday, February 6th at 3PM at the Seneca County
Cornell Cooperative Extension office, 308 Main Street Shop Centre, third floor, Waterloo. All that are interested or have questions are welcome to attend.
The Waterloo Rotary started the market in 2018 and are now making plans for the 2020 season. The market is held in the parking lot near the old Save A Lot building behind the shops on Main Street. The market is held Saturdays from June to early October from 9Am to 1PM.
This is a chance for you to increase your farm or business profitability by taking advantage of this low-cost means of tapping into a new pool of customers. We are looking to expand our group of vendors for 2020, so if you think you may be interested, please plan to attend this meeting. The key to this community farmers’ market is promoting locally grown and produced items and providing residents with access to local, fresh fruits and vegetables and other products.
If you are interested, but can’t attend the meeting, please contact Patti at Seneca County Cornell Cooperative Extension at 315-539-9251 or pap11@cornell.edu.
