BROOKSVILLE, Fla. — On August 10, from 9AM to 4PM, join USDA NRCS for a workshop on how to farm with beneficial insects at the NRCS Brooksville Plant Material Center (14119 Broad Street, Brooksville, FL, 34601). You will learn how insects can be used for pest control and the common farm practices that can build habitat for them.
Farmers, ranchers, and gardeners are all encouraged to attend. Sponsors include the Xerces Society, SARE and USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service.
