BANGOR, Maine — The USDA Service Center in Augusta, which serves customers in Kennebec, Knox and Lincoln counties, is moving its offices from the location at 21 Enterprise Drive. The service center houses USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) and Farm Service Agency (FSA), along with the Kennebec County Soil and Water Conservation District. The last day of operations in the Augusta office will be Friday, Aug. 30.
Starting Tuesday, Sept. 3, NRCS and FSA staff from the Augusta location will operate from the USDA Service Centers in Androscoggin, Waldo and Somerset counties for several months while a new location for the Augusta USDA Service Center is confirmed. Customers can continue working with their respective USDA representatives by calling the Augusta office number, (207) 622-7847, which will still be active.

Customers and partners should expect the move to cause minimal impact to USDA operations, payments and services. USDA is working to notify customers of the relocation.
