In Oregon, all wheat planted totaled 720,000 acres, down 3 percent from a year ago. Harvested area, at 705,000 acres, is down 3 percent from 2020. Production totaled 31.7 million bushels, down 32 percent from the previous year. Yield is estimated at 45.0 bushels per acre, down 19.0 bushels from 2020. In Washington, all wheat planted totaled 2.33 million acres, down 1 percent from 2020. Harvested area, at 2.23 million acres, is down 3 percent from the previous year. Production totaled 87.2 million bushels, down 48 percent from 2020. Yield is estimated at 39.1 bushels per acre, down 33.3 bushels from the previous year.
All hay harvested in Idaho totaled 1.24 million acres, down 5 percent from 2020. All hay production totaled 4.55 million tons, down 14 percent from the previous year.
