PITTSBORO, N.C. — Join us to learn more about on-farm food safety! CFSA and NC Cooperative Extension have partnered to deliver a workshop that will provide an overview of the process required to successfully go through a USDA Harmonized GAP Audit.
During this workshop we will provide attendees with the resources to build your Food Safety Plan, discuss how to effectively conduct risk assessments and address common challenges that farms experience as they become GAP Certified. The USDA GAP Harmonized Audit was modified by USDA in 2018 in order to be aligned with FSMA’s Produce Safety Rule; we will discuss what this means for farms being audited.
