JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. — The United States Department of Agriculture began hosting meetings this week to assist farmers and ranchers in understanding financial support available to them due to severe flooding. The USDA Farm Service Agency, USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service, University of Missouri Extension, Missouri Department of Agriculture and the Missouri Department of Natural Resources will be continuing the Disaster Assistance informational meetings for farmers and ranchers across the state.
Meeting locations include:
- July 23 – 1:30 p.m. at Canton Elevator-Ursa Farmers Coop in Canton
- July 24 – 9 a.m. at Elsberry Legion Hall, Elsberry
- July 25 – 9 a.m. at the USFW Big Muddy Refuge Visitor Center in Boonville
- August 13 – 9 a.m. at the Goppert Community Building in Norborne
