PUEBLO — The Colorado Tourism Office, Visit Pueblo Convention & Visitors Bureau and the Colorado State Fair are happy to announce the official unveiling of the Explore Colorado Exhibit at the Colorado State Fairgrounds. This has been a two-year project with a $25,000 contribution from the State Fair and a $25,000 match from the Colorado Tourism Office. The Colorado themed building display aims to inspire fair attendees to go have an adventure in lesser-known destinations, all while providing messaging around sustainable travel.
The mission of The Colorado Tourism Office as a sponsor is to drive traveler spending through promotion and development of compelling, sustainable travel experiences throughout our four-corner state.
The Visit Pueblo Convention & Visitors Bureau, in partnership with various local outfitters and attractions, added local memorabilia and display pieces to bring the visual exhibit to life. In addition, guests will find travel planning materials to inspire new experiences throughout Pueblo and the state.
“We relish our status as the hometown of the Colorado State Fair and now we can also serve as a point of inspiration to Explore Colorado!” said Donielle Kitzman, Vice President of Visit Pueblo.
The public unveiling took place on Friday, August 27th, 2021 in the Cultural Heritage Building within the Colorado State Fairgrounds.
