LANCASTER, N.H. — UNH Cooperative Extension is hosting a Livestock Ration Clinic. This 3-day online short course is open to livestock owners of all skills and experience levels. It is designed to teach participants how to develop simple feed rations to meet the nutritional needs of livestock of all types and life stages, while meeting the production goals of your farm. On day 1, The basics of animal nutrition will be explained. On day 2, participants will learn how to formulate rations on their farm. Participants can then try out developing rations on their own and will have an opportunity on day 3 to bring in their developed rations for critiques. On day 3, UNH Extension will be available to help out and answer any specific questions about developing rations for your livestock.

Day 3: Example Rations and Help from an Expert! Mon. Jan 11th 6:30-8pm Speaker: Dr. Pete Erickson Professor/Extension Dairy Specialist
