STORRS, Conn. — UConn will host a Robotic Milking Conference focusing on the impacts on animal health, welfare and economic sustainability for Northeast Dairy Farms on Friday, October 26, 2018 in room 100 of the W. B. Young Building, 1376 Storrs Road, Storrs, CT. The conference will cover the impacts of robotic milking on animal health, welfare, and economic sustainability for northeast dairy farms.
The conference will run from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and will be followed by an optional reception and dinner in the Ratcliffe Hicks Arena, 1380 Storrs Road, Storrs, CT. The registration fee, not including dinner, is $40 per person. For participants from the same farm registering as a group of up to four people, the registration fee is $40 for the first individual and $20 each for (up to 3) additional people. The student registration fee is $20. The cash bar reception and dinner are $25 per person. Registration is requested by Monday, October 15th.
