URBANA, Ill. — University of Illinois Agricultural Leadership and Science Education students, Rob Klein and Kaity Spangler, were selected as representatives for the 2017 Homecoming Court. Following an extensive application process, students’ applications were screened and scored by a committee comprised of faculty, students, and staff from across the University of Illinois campus. Students with the highest scores were chosen for an in-person interview. The interviews were also scored; students with the highest scores were selected to represent the university on the 2017 Homecoming Court.

Klein and Spangler were two of only three students from the College of ACES who were represented on the Homecoming Court. Throughout Homecoming Week, they attended multiple university events with the University of Illinois Chancellor and President, rode in the Homecoming Parade, and were introduced on the field during halftime at the football game.
