RALEIGH, N.C. — There will be two forage/livestock events in July for producers, Extension Professionals and others interested in attending.
The first event will be July 15, for the Forage Field Day at Piedmont Res Station in Salisbury, N.C. Join us to see first-hand forage variety plots and to learn about productivity and weed management of cool- and warm-season perennial forages (i.e. orchardgrass, tall fescue, and bermudagrass) for the Piedmont. Join us in Asheville, North Carolina, for the 2022 Southern Pasture and Forage Crop Improvement Conference! The meeting will include professional presentations and a tour of agriculture enterprises and research in the western North Carolina area. Hosted by N.C. State University the conference will be held July 26-28.
