RICHMOND, Va. — Twelve Virginia companies will exhibit at the 2020 Winter Fancy Food Show at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, CA, on Jan. 19 – 21. The Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (VDACS) will set up a Virginia State Pavilion within the trade show to highlight Virginia’s Finest companies and also will provide the twelve Virginia specialty food companies networking opportunities with domestic and international industry buyers and distribution companies.

Many of these companies are participants in VDACS’ Virginia’s Finest trademark program. The Virginia’s Finest program identifies, differentiates and promotes top-quality, Virginia-produced and processed specialty food and beverage products.
The 2020 Winter Fancy Food Show will feature more than 80,000 products and 1,400 exhibitors from around the world. Key buyers representing grocery stores, restaurants, markets and gift shops rely on this annual trade show to find innovative foods and beverages to add to their product mix and fulfill the growing consumer demand for specialty foods and beverages.
Specialty foods remain one of the fastest-growing segments of the food business. The Specialty Food Association’s industry report indicated that specialty food sales in 2018 reached $148.7 billion as a result of increased interest from both consumers and retailers.
