The PDPW Innovation Tours hosted by the Professional Dairy Producers® (PDPW) on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 will feature in-depth tours and dialogue with two leading dairy farms and farm owners. The tour will depart the tour bus pick-up site at Fremont Citgo Travel Plaza in Fremont, Wis., at 9:00 a.m. and return by 4:00 p.m.
“The PDPW Innovation Tours will give you a behind-the-scenes look at the latest technologies and management practices, and to learn directly from cutting-edge farm owners in the heart of America’s Dairyland,” said Shelly Mayer, PDPW Executive Director and Dairy Farmer in Slinger, Wis.
Open to farmers and agribusiness, attendees will tour Brooks Farm in Waupaca, Wis., showcasing a recently constructed freestall barn and parlor facility that features an energy-saving ventilation system, precision parlor technology and automated feed pusher system.
