GREENWICH, N.Y. — Join Cornell Cooperative Extension Albany County for its Fourteenth Annual Winter Green-Up on January 29, 2022 from 8:00am – 4:00pm.
This year’s conference will be held in a NEW LOCATION at the Greenwich Elks Club, located at 130 Bulson Road, Greenwich, NY 12834.
This year’s speakers include:
- Judith Schwartz, author of Cows Save the Planet, Water in Plain Sight, and The Reindeer Chronicles, who will explore a global perspective on grazing and how it can heal the Earth.
- Matt LaRoux, an Extension Associate from the Charles H. Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management at Cornell University will discuss his new meat pricing calculator.
- Mike Lapi, a Chef-Instructor at SUNY Cobleskill, will discuss meat quality from a butcher’s perspective.
- Stacylyn Himelright, Cattle Procurement Lead/Head Buyer for Cargill Taylor Beef, who will discuss navigating cattle markets and sales.
The cost of the conference is $45 per person, which includes morning coffee and snacks, as well as lunch! Judith will have books available for sale as well.
