NEWARK, Del. — Cheese gift boxes have returned to UDairy Creamery. Customers can choose from a selection of four different types of gift boxes — three cheese, DE-Luxe Cheese, signature cheese combo and cheddar cheese curd. At the University of Delaware’s College of Agriculture and Natural Resources’ Genuardi Food Innovation Laboratory, UD students make all of the cheese with milk from UD cows.
The three cheese gift box includes three types of cheeses — Delaware Gold, Garlic and Chive, and PeppaDel for $24; the signature cheese combo box offers not just flavor, but variety with one block each of Delaware Gold and First State Cheddar, and an 8 oz. bag of plain cheddar cheese curds for $25.
The cheddar cheese curd gift box includes one bag each of plain cheddar, Blue Hen Kickin’ Curds and Delaware Coastal Curds. Elevate your gift giving with the $58 DE-Luxe Gift Box and receive the three types of waxed cheeses, UDairy branded cow cutting board, Boska semi-soft cheese knife and a 1.5 oz. jar of University of Delaware Honey made on the UD Farm in Newark.
Customers can opt for a contactless experience through UDairy’s online ordering system for curbside pickup or ship to home. All boxes are also available at the Creamery’s Newark location walk-up window.
UDairy Creamery also offers individual 8 oz. cheese blocks and cheese curds for only $8. Enjoy the plain cheddar cheese or excite your palette with Garlic and Chive Delaware Gold.
