BROOME CO., N.Y. — Cornell Cooperative Extension of Broome County and Senator Frederick Akshar are proud to present the Spring Broome County Farm Trail held on May 5th & 6th 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Families are invited to tour farms throughout Broome County while learning about their food that is grown in their own backyard.
This year’s farms that will be participating both days are: Country Wagon Produce in Maine, NYALA Alpaca Farm in Vestal, JADA Hill Farm in Deposit, Verde View Equestrian Center and Myers Equestrian Center in Binghamton, Nanticoke Gardens in Endicott and Sugar Creek Maple Farm in Vestal. The Broome County Regional Farmers Market, TASTE NY in Binghamton, and Old Barn Market and Gluten Free Bakery in Binghamton will be participating on Saturday.
Participants will have a chance to win a free grill by visiting five different farms, pick up a brochure, have five farms stamp the brochure and return to Cornell Cooperative Extension (more details in brochure).
