Tanglewood Arboretum adult education

Classes are offered once a month from 11am-12pm

N.C. Cooperative Extension, Forsyth County Center, and Extension Master Gardener Volunteers invite you to attend the 2018 Summer Adult Education Classes at the Arboretum and Gardens at Tanglewood Park. (photo by Erik Mitchell, creative commons/flickr.com)

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C.–N.C. Cooperative Extension, Forsyth County Center, and Extension Master Gardener Volunteers invite you to attend the 2018 Summer Adult Education Classes at the Arboretum and Gardens at Tanglewood Park.

Classes are offered once a month from 11am-12pm at the Arboretum office (4201 Manor House Circle, Clemmons, NC 27012).

Registration is required and opens two weeks before each class. Register by calling 336-703-2850 or emailing coop-ext-registration@forsyth.cc. Space is limited.

This summer’s topics are:

May 16 | Culinary Herbs
Jeanne Aller, Extension Master Gardener Volunteer,
Guilford County Center

June 20 | Hydrangeas: Beyond Endless Summer and Limelight
John Roethling, Curator of Mariana H. Quebein Arboretum and Botanical Garden

July 18 | Heirloom Tomatoes
Tracy Lounsbury, Local Grower

August 1 | Identifying and Controlling Animal Pests in the Garden
Scott McNeely, McNeely Pest Control
