CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. — Come join us and make a small (12-15 inch) tabletop evergreen “tree”, perfect for your holiday centerpiece or home decorating. Ontario County Master Gardeners, Debbie McWilliams and Sandy Eckhert will show you how to use floral Oasis and evergreen clippings to construct a beautiful tree that can then be decorated in a variety of ways. This fragrant little tree will stay fresh throughout the season and is the perfect size for anywhere in your home.
Items that will be supplied are Floral Oasis, a variety of evergreen clippings/boughs, a container for the tree and a few decorating choices. They will also provide finished trees to use as examples for inspiration. You will need to bring shears/scissors to trim evergreen pieces, small strings of mini lights (battery operated) if you would like a lighted tree (these can be purchased from craft stores) and any decorations of your choice. Register early as enrollment is limited.
