OKOBOJI, Iowa — Swine producers are invited to attend a one-day swine production seminar on March 20 in Okoboji.
The program will focus on herd health, industry insights, employee management and production practices.
Featured speakers will include:
- Bill Even, CEO, National Pork Board – “Pork Industry Update: What’s the Future Look Like?”
- Jim Moody, Hanor USA – “Adapting to Change to Reach Production Goals”
- Darin Madson, Iowa State University – “Leading Pig Health Issues, How to Survive in an Unhealthy World”
- Tom Koch, Hubbard Feeds – “Defining Teamwork and Coaching Employees to Succeed”
Following the speakers, there will be time for an open discussion and question-and-answer session.
The program runs from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Arrowwood Resort Conference Center located at 1405 HWY 71 in Okoboji. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. and lunch will be provided at noon.
