Pick up your order and browse the additional selections at their fundraising Plant Sale on Saturday, May 13 from 9 to 3 pm at the Penn State Extension Office parking lot. A carefully selected offering of quality perennials, annuals, herbs, vegetables, hanging baskets, and house plants will be available the day of the sale! Diverse varieties offer something for every gardener. Whether your area is full sun, shade, dry or wet, we have beautiful selections that best suit your gardening area!
Master Gardeners will be on site offering gardening advice, answering your gardening questions, and giving garden tours at the many demonstration gardens on the property. There is an expansive house plant sale in the Penn State Extension office, as well as a diverse selection of educational handouts and Penn State for-sale publications. Proceeds from the sale help fund educational gardening programs to residents county-wide. Programs are held at Salt Springs, Harford Fair, Farm and Home Day, Montrose Area Adult School, area Senior Centers, local Garden Club presentations and at demonstration gardens throughout the county.
