PITTSBORO, N.C. — The North American Raspberry & Blackberry Association (NARBA) is conducting a survey of growers’ 2020 caneberry pricing and of the adjustments they are making because of COVID-19 this year. Growers can provide 2019 prices or best estimates if they have not yet settled on their 2020 prices. All responses are anonymous, and participants can request to receive a report of the results.

“We have been conducting a pricing survey every year or two since 2013,” says NARBA Executive Secretary Debby Wechsler. “This year we’re working especially hard to collect and share this information, as everyone is having to make some new decisions because of COVID-19 and wondering what others are doing. We urge growers to participate right away – we hope to hear from growers of all sizes all across the U.S. and Canada. The sooner we get sufficient responses, the sooner we can share the results.”
NARBA is a membership association of growers and others working with caneberries; this survey is a collaboration with researchers at NC State University and the University of Arkansas. For more information, contact NARBA (info@raspberryblackberry.com).
