SUNY Adirondack issues Call for Proposals

School sees potential, interest in basic animal husbandry class for kids

QUEENSBURY, N.Y. — SUNY Adirondack Continuing Education is accepting course proposals for its 2018 Summer Enrichment Youth Program at the Queensbury Campus. The program will run for three weeks, Monday through Thursday, July 9 – 26, 2018, with an open house for students to showcase their achievements on the evening of July 26, 2018. Morning and afternoon time slots are available. Students are grouped into two levels: those entering grades 4-6 and 7-10.

Courses should be designed to give students opportunities to explore new subject matter, learn new hobbies, or express and enrich their creative and artistic abilities. Hands-on-activities are encouraged.

Summer Youth Enrichment Course Proposal Forms are due to the Office of Continuing Education by January 24, 2018. Forms can be obtained from the “Teach a Class” section of the Office of Continuing Education’s “Contact Us” webpage (http://www.sunyacc.edu/continuing-ed/contact-us) or by calling Continuing Education at 518.743.2238.

Summer Youth Enrichment Course Proposal Forms can be sent via email to conted@sunyacc.edu or faxed to 518.743.2318.
