ALEXANDRA, Minn. — The University of Minnesota Extension’s Fruit and Vegetable program and Berry Ridge Farm in Alexandria are hosting an evening field tour on June 19 from 5:00-8:00pm.
Activities include: Insect and disease management for vegetables, mechanical and cultural methods for controlling weeds, and optimizing sprayer performance, including high tunnel production. Sprayer demonstrations will be led by Ken Frost of Frost Inc. and The Spray Barn in St. Croix Falls, WI. This event is ideal for anyone currently growing, or considering growing vegetables or fruit for market.
