COLUMBUS, Ohio — Last year at the 91st Ohio FFA Convention, Sunrise Cooperative announced an exciting partnership with Ohio FFA. Sunrise presented a 2019 Chevrolet Colorado to the Ohio FFA state president. The state president will drive the vehicle to chapter visits, leadership nights, conferences, conventions and other FFA events while serving Ohio FFA members in this position. This spring, Sunrise Cooperative will hire a 2020 high school graduate who is an active FFA member as a full-time employee. As a signing bonus the new employee will receive a truck.
This year at the 92nd Ohio FFA Convention, Sunrise Cooperative will present this vehicle to an FFA member who will be working for the company after graduation. The student’s position could be at one of more than 30 locations across the state in an area such as agronomy, feed, grain, energy, precision solutions or transportation. The member selected by the Ohio FFA Foundation as the deserving recipient is expected to be employed through Sunrise Cooperative for at least four consecutive years.
