GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. — The 2019 Summer Ag-Issues Summit is shaping up to be a great meeting. Hosted in Grand Junction, the event will provide members with an opportunity to mingle with old (and new) friends as well as learn about the important issues facing the agriculture industry in Colorado.
Save the Date for this year’s Summer Ag Issues Summit brought to you by Coloradans for Responsible Energy Development in Grand Junction, Colorado on Sunday, July 14 and Monday, July 15.
Topics for the meeting include:
- Opioid Epidemic
- Wolf Ballot Initiative
- Tax and State Budget Issues
- More!
Additionally, the Summer Ag-Issues Summit begins the policy development process for the year. This process is one of the ways in which Colorado Farm Bureau is unique from other organizations. Completely grassroots driven, policy is created by members and county farm bureaus before it’s reviewed by the larger membership.
This is the first time that advisory committees meet to discuss what issues should take priority during the upcoming year.
