LOUISBURG, N.C. — The popular regional Successful Small Farms Opportunities Conference will be held at the Louisburg College campus in Louisburg on Saturday, February 8th from 8:00 am – 3:30 p.m.
Topics include:

- The basics of managing your farm pond
- Niche fruit farming: Paw Paw, Kiwi, etc.
- Vermiculture Production
- Hemp Processing
- Other Funds for your Farm: NRCS & Soil & Water
- Packing Sheds: Design, etc.
- Silvopasture on Your Farm
- Small Scale Dairy: Production & Marketing
- Permiculture on Your Farm
The keynote speaker, Dr. Francesco Tiezzi from NCSU, will speak on Italy’s Small-Scale Agriculture.
In addition, there will be a free Seed Exchange again this year for participants.
There will be a small fee to participate.
